About me
I am an emergency and crisis management professional, based in Vienna, Austria. I believe in mitigating risk by empowering organizations to build up sustainable resilience.
I was introduced to the world of emergency response as a child and I am fascinated ever since. My grand grand father built fire engines in his blacksmith workshop and volunteered as a fire fighter, my father volunteers as a paramedic and I think it is no surprise that I chose this path.
In 2009 I chose to volunteer with the Red Cross in Austria and started my training as an emergency medical technician. Soon I became interested in the coordination of emergencies, focused on major incident response and decided to steer my career towards this field.
